About me

For more than ten years, Catherine has created impactful partnerships that enable companies of all sizes—from startups to market-leading enterprises—to scale and succeed.
As a senior manager on the portfolio development team, Catherine focuses on sales enablement and partner channel strategy. She facilitates product integrations and go-to-market partnerships between Microsoft and portfolio companies, helping startups sell alongside the world’s largest global salesforce and leverage Microsoft’s breadth of product offerings to build new customer acquisition channels.
As an advisor to the fund’s portfolio, Catherine coaches companies in closing six-figure deals and securing millions in revenue from enterprise customers. In this capacity, Catherine has supported several startups on their path to exit, including Make.TV (acquired: LTN Global), Voicea (acquired: Cisco), and SuperAwesome (acquired: Epic Games). She currently serves on the board of portfolio company Cooler Screens, a point-of-sale media startup, and facilitated the company’s partnership with Microsoft to build next-generation IoT products.
Catherine joined M12 from Microsoft’s consumer communication business development team. Prior to Microsoft, Catherine worked in partnership development for Limeade (XASX:LME), a venture-backed company, and started her career in venture capital as an investment analyst for Point B Capital.
Catherine holds a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA from the University of Washington. While at the Foster School of Business, she served as the William H. Gates Sr. Fellow in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Technology Alliance where she now represents Microsoft’s voice in the state’s innovation economy as a member of the board.
