It’s my pleasure to welcome Munashe Dema to M12 as a venture fellow on the investment team.
Based in London and Berlin, Munashe will focus on deals in the UK as well as opportunities across Europe. He joins our team from Blue Future Partners where he worked as an investor-in-residence and led the creation of a pan-African VC fund of funds.
Munashe brings incredible entrepreneurial experience to his role as the co-founder of Amigo Fetch, an on-demand delivery startup. He has operational leadership experience at fast-growing UK startups, including green gas and electricity supplier Bulb, and Look After My Bills—a consumer-centric energy bill optimization service that was featured on BBC’s Dragons’ Den. Munashe has also worked in investment management at State Street Global Advisors and research at McKinsey & Company. He holds a Bachelor of Science with honors in finance, accounting, and management from The University of Nottingham.
In 2020, Munashe Dema was one of 48 fellows from around the world selected by Included VC, a nonprofit organization changing the face of the VC industry—dramatically increasing diversity and maximizing fund success. M12 is a proud supporter of Included VC, and we’re thrilled that the organization helped us identify an incredible talent in Munashe.
The team is looking forward to working with Munashe over the course of his fellowship, tapping his skill set and founder experience to support analysis on potential investments.
Welcome to the team, Munashe!
