M12

We’re thrilled to welcome Black Venture Capital Consortium (BVCC) Venture Fellow Damian Murray to M12 for a summer internship.

Damian’s professional background includes working with early-stage startups and developing innovation and entrepreneurship programs for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). His partnership with Black founders and experience supporting startup crowdfunding efforts motivated Damian to pursue his interest in venture capital. In addition to his fellowship with BVCC, Damian is an HBCUvc Fellow, an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Consultant with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, and a consistent hackathon and pitch competition standout.

“I have a personal goal to impact global innovation communities and support game-changing founders. Working with the M12 team this summer will help me get there. “

– Damian Murray | BVCC Fellow

Damian is currently a master’s degree candidate at Columbia University, where he studies technology management as an HBCU Fellow; prior, Damian received a BBA in finance from Jackson State University.

The team is looking forward to working with Damian this summer, tapping his skill set to support analysis on potential investments, especially in cybersecurity and AI/ML — his primary areas of interest. We’re excited to kick off our partnership with BVCC, and grateful for the connection to such a talented and passionate Venture Fellow.

Welcome to the team, Damian!
