At Foster, she has continued her work in diversity, equity, and inclusion by creating mentoring circles for students of color as well as the Buddy Program to connect diverse prospective students to current ones. She is also a William H. Gates Sr. Fellow in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and worked alongside the Technology Alliance and other education officials to create a report on Washington state’s response to COVID and the impact it had on K-12 students. In her free time, she enjoys baking, cooking, running or playing volleyball.
